Scope: ICL is a fertilizer and chemical company looking for a highly motivated individual to manage customer accounts in the domestic and international market. Customer relationships are very important to ICL, so the right candidate must have strong people and customer service skills with high attention to detail. The Customer Account Specialist position is the main contact for order related activities and is responsible for ensuring customer loyalty by effectively managing the order process.
Maintains an effective, ongoing communication with various inter-company departments, freight forwarders and customers.
Responsible for managing orders from entry to accounts receivable.
Responsible for monitoring and influencing the reconciliation and collection of receivables.
Works with corporate Accounts Receivable to apply cash and manage residuals.
Works to resolve system issues such as pricing, product registrations, international documentation, logistics, etc.
Answers calls regarding product and order related questions from end-users.
Individual plays an important role in providing consultative selling to maximize container loads and executing all selling programs.
Utilize Excel to create and maintain daily reports.
Optimize freight containers and obtain dray carriers.
Participate in weekly conference calls to review reports, discuss potential problems and corrective solutions with management and sales team.
Bachelor degree preferred.
5+ years of customer service experience required.
Understanding of processes that make up orders-to-cash. This includes order entry, order management, logistics, invoicing and collections.
Import/Export logistics experience preferred.
Ability to speak Spanish required
Proficiency with software programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook. QAD helpful, but not required.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful circumstances.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
